We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager | ChargePlanner

Business Development Manager for our EV charging solution “ChargePlanner”

RetailSonar is a rapidly expanding SAAS company specializing in geomarketing for 125 major retail and service enterprises in Europe. From our offices in Belgium, The Netherlands, France and Germany we outreach today to the market. Our recent breakthrough, "ChargePlanner" (visit chargeplanner.ai), is a cutting-edge solution that aids European charging point operators like Total Energies, Powerdot, Engie, Shell ubitricity, Avia, and many more in making informed decisions regarding the optimal locations for new EV charging stations. Our unique solution is operational in nine countries today (including Spain and Portugal) and fed by state of the art AI technology and up-to-date market data, which is the base of our very accurate performance prediction.

To propel the success of ChargePlanner and drive our business forward, we are in search of a business development managers to boost our activities in Iberia, The Netherlands UK and Poland.

The challenge

  • Build the relation with the local CPOs, and generate demand in cooperation with the marketing team
  • Create the leads and manage them until signing
  • Understand and stay up to date with market and business challenges of CPOs.

What's your profile?

  • You have close contacts with Charging Point Operators in one or more of the following countries: Spain, Portugal, UK, Poland or The Netherlands
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently from home
  • Proven experience in business development, with a track record of  building up a pipeline on your own (with support of marketing)
  • You are used to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • You have a proven ability to close large deals of +50k€ ARR
  • Strong understanding of business context and needs of Charge Point Operators
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple opportunities at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • You are an ambitious and driven self-starter, keen to work in a fast-growing scale-You know how to motivate and drive the internal organization to meet the customer needs
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
